Botswana Photography & Wildlife Safari (November 1-11, 2018)
Join me on a full service camping expedition as I explore the remove African bush of beautiful Botswana! Botswana has the highest concentration of elephants left on Earth, the biggest African wild dog population and one of only nine viable lion populations on the continent. I am partnering with GrassTrack Safaris and Earth Ark Travel to provide an extraordinary wildlife photography experience in this unique ecosystem. We will explore the Khwai River Region, the Savute Area, and Chobe National Park, spending multiple days in each area. Travel between locations will also provide ample opportunity for additional photographic encounters with wildlife.
We will maximize each day by being out in the field most of the time. We will get up early, often before sunrise, to be in the best position possible for golden hour. We will spend full days behind our cameras with the exception of taking short breaks and a rest during the hottest part of the day and for all meals. We will conclude the evenings with delicious food, adult beverages should you choose, and the opportunity to discuss photography and the editing process (or just kick back and enjoy the wilderness).
I will provide assistance with composition, editing, techniques, and help you come home with some epic images. The safari will be guided by Steve Stockhall (Earth Ark Travel), who is also a professional wildlife photographer and who will assist us in finding wildlife for the best compositions and how to stay safe. Earth Ark Travel provides all of the camping accommodations, transport, and meals as well.
We need a minimum of 4 guests with a maximum of 8. Registration ends on August 1, 2018. Please contact me with any questions. To view the full itinerary details and to register, please head on over to GrassTrack Safaris, who designed and coordinated the entire trip.
Pass the word! Thanks!
